Portobello Market

We must, we must, we must.
We must get to Notting Hill and see Portobello Market; so popular among tourists.
So we lived up to the name; tourists in London and taking a cab there is no joke; that Saturday we ended up hailing cabs and cut a big hole in our pocket..

The London cab is an expensive experience; but a great one.

I am a little tea pot; short and stout...so pretty.

Merriment; hope it is still like this in the streets of Portobello Market today; poor tourists if they are looted.

Esther will never allow a scenario like that to escape her artistic intuitions. Old sewing machines on the shelf for display and decor; nothing goes unused.

Doesn't this look like the goods in our pasar malam; except that they are manned by Caucasians?

Art pieces...

Setting up a band on this busy Saturday morn...

Keep calm and carry on; keep calm and have a cup cake; keep calm and... so many others.

Be careful in the streets of London; no snatch theft but definitely numerous pick pockets !

Mouth watering; equivalent to our fried radish dish; keropok lekor, curry puffs; no la they are deep fried sea food !

The tomatoes are out of the world. Just pop them into your mouth.

The Portobello Market is not anything new in our eyes. It is equivalent to our local markets in the streets of China Town and we are used to huge crowds. The goods are slightly different but are easily gotten in Malaysia too. So nothing much to buy except for some small souvenirs.

Part timers or full time? It's not easy to get a job these days...but nevertheless having fun in a job is a bonus. They must be enjoying themselves.
