Why ?

Stratford Upon Avon

Even the greatest poet of mankind saw the foolishness of mankind.
However much the centuries may have gone, the crux of existence has to deal with foolish decisions ; why is there war in London now?

Stratford Upon Avon is synonymous to Shakespeare. If you follow the British syllabus with English as the first language, you will find yourself associated with Shakespeare. You read texts that teach his thoughts, values and outlook of life. You either become disillusioned with the sad tales or you become uplifted at the sadism and laughter he slashes on man.

The sane and upright snatch at the closest opportunity to nurture their off springs in the world of Shakespeare knowing full well that they will capture the satire and language of poems and plays in the best way.

The English has such a thick history inundated by commendable ideas and style and the nation is supposed to be matured, civilized and an example for fine and right living. There; peaceful and civilized.
The news I see over the TV a while ago make me wonder at the violence and looting in London. How is this possible at this century? I don't know what to believe. I thought I just came home from a beautiful, memorable trip to the place and how is it possible? What would Shakespeare think of his homeland? Foolish fools...

People go back to their past to savour in the great teaching and learn about facts of life ; see many visited the birth place of Shakespeare. They want to feel and know more about this great poet and perhaps not makes mistakes by foolish thinking... it looks as though it's not happening.

Why can't life be as simple as this ? The beautiful Summer breeze over a cup of tea. People talk, consider, dwell on matters and find resolutions. How has the peace left London?

Strive for peace and live in peace with little turmoil and upset just like the picture you see above. So serene. That's what life should aim at? But Sara tells me I am too docile. Fight for your rights...now you know why there is so much unprecedented chaos in the streets of London. Am I glad she's home with me for the moment; but not for long too. I hope things will be normalized soon. Nobody gains in violence.

I wish I am back at the countryside again. It looks like an illusion but really; we saw the place en route to Mary Arden's House. So ancient the name but it was true. Simply enjoy the peaceful outlook of the county.

We hopped on to this coach and it brought us round the countryside with the tour guide telling us stories of the origins of 'potholes' and 'raining cats and dogs'. She went on to give us juicy news of Shakespeare's private life and the names of his spouse and daughter...whom she married and so on. Quite entertaining she was especially with the thick British, no nonsense accent. No play, play.

The countryside is surely not for the quick, young and uptight . It is meant for real living and retirement. That's why the aged don't fight. They have gone through much and saw the foolishness of mankind. They want peace and meaning. But, first of all you must work hard while you are young and strong and then retire in quietness with abundance in your pocket so as not to be a burden to others. Plan for good living when in your old age; then many will not avoid you; old you may be.

So the love birds held hands, posed and stayed happy in Shakespeare's home town not knowing the chaos that was to come...

The girls too had happy moments in the company of one another. They have big fights occasionally; but very soon forget about them and come together as close and as thick as blood could be. Sisters. Hope they stay close together and that the 'jie jie' will look after the 'mei mei'.

Life is so supposed to be as beautiful as the flowers. We hope and pray that peace will come back to London and tourism resumed during these summer days. Such acts of thoughtlessness and primitiveness should not even exist today.

Peace for London.
