My BOS Teachers

 BOS
They say it may mean Blue Ocean Strategy...my teachers are putting on different hats, different looks and different attitudes these days. They are aiming high and trying tricks of all nature to achieve.I hope in their drive they will not meet too challenging times; but yet all these are part of the route to success. We are also evoking entrepreneurial stamina among our proteges and protegees as we scour through the intense activities of the month of June and early July. We have a mission to accomplish ; to help fill the coffers of the PTA of the school to provide extra-curricular  facilities for the school.
The fund raising activities; a talent show and a carnival day are enough to set the school reeling in action.
But most commendable are the teachers.
They use strategies that you may not have heard of.

These old timers will plan, strategise and sacrifice time beyond their calling just to see a job well-delivered. They have been so well trained that they know the ins and outs of their duties without much guidance. They hold great responsibility in the disposition of their chores.

These hardworking ones are the anchors of the school. Puan Tan is girl Friday and will come to your rescue. Puan Saadiah is the chief secretary of the school and she writes, writes , writes. Puan Sumalidza and Puan Maziha make sure the backdrops of the school are always well taken care of and Puan Latiffah had her portion of writing minutes last year. They are beautiful people.

Oh Miss Purity has a big task ahead of her for the coming talent show. She will be the lady behind the stage and all arrangements and props under her gentle care. Her skill as stage manager has been proven.

The show cannot go on without her. She plots, coaxes, hunts for talent and money...oh Doris, Doris, Doris... please do not collapse.
Yet, she still smiles... and all the time say.."Aya Puan Chong; you see these... " non stop.
I give in to have peace my dear Doris...
But I love your stamina.

My teachers are fun lovers too; you have to play hard to have what you want. So when you ask them to perform, they will without qualms. So it is good to see them having fun. Aren't they great?

They are good at the dikir barat too; it is this spirit that will carry them through the days in school. They are not only teachers. They are fathers, mothers, sister, brothers and everything to everyone. Who says it is easy to be a teacher? Perhaps the toughest job is to be as teacher. You are under scrutiny, criticism, and have to be on alert for you may be attacked unaware. We pick ourselves up when we fall only to fall again and then to stand up again. But never mind, we still love the job.

So, for this particular period of time, I just need to tell them they are appreciated for their effort.
I hope they will continue to fight the good fight for the next 2 weeks using the  BOS and float well.

And...really. You have to been street wise in school for the children are getting more street wise by the day.
You have to be the greater crook to conquer them.
